Thank you for visiting Parenting IS Prevention and reviewing our privacy policy. Our privacy policy is clear. We collect NO personal information about you when you visit our web site unless you choose to provide the information to us.
Here is how we handle information about your visit to our web site.

Information Collected and Stored Automatically

The Internet domain (for example, "xcompany.com" if you use a private Internet access account, or "yourschool.edu" if you connect from a university’s domain) and IP address (an IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the Web) from which you access our site;
The type of browser and operating system used to access our site;
The date and time you access our site;
The searches you make
The pages you visit; and
If you linked to Parenting IS Prevention from another web site, the address of that web site.

Parenting IS Prevention does not collect information for commercial marketing.
The only exception to the above 5 points would be pursuant to a bona fide Court Order.

Consider your suggestions.
Possibly respond directly to you for clarification.
Try to answer your questions.
If you choose to send us names and photos of your family, we will use that information exclusively for posting on the Parenting IS Prevention web site.

Our web site has links to many other sites. Once you link to another site, you are subject to the privacy policy of the new site.

Minors

The Parenting IS Prevention site is designed for parents only. We urge parents and teachers to be involved in children’s Internet explorations. It is particularly important for parents to guide their children when children are asked to provide personal information on line.

Intrusion Detection

This site is maintained for the Department of Health and Human Services of the United States Government. It is protected by various provisions of Title 18, U.S. Code. Violations of Title 18 are subject to criminal prosecution in federal court.

For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, we employ software programs to monitor traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage. In the event of authorized law enforcement investigation and pursuant to any required legal process, information from these sources may be used to help identify an individual.
